Jamison Beuerman is an associate in the firm’s general litigation practice group, focusing on a range of areas including insurance coverage, real estate and contract law, and business litigation. In this capacity, he represents clients in breach of contract cases, real estate, and business disputes as well as representing insurers in various insurance coverage issues including bad faith lawsuits and premises liability.

He represents clients in all phases of litigation, from coverage determinations, pleadings, discovery proceedings, motion practice, up to and including trial.

He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts as well as the U.S. District Court for Eastern Louisiana.

Jamison received his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2014, where he received the CALI award in National Security Law and served on the Immigration Law Clinic. He received a B.A. in English at Rhodes College in 2009.

Prior to joining Leake Andersson in 2024, Jamison worked at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office and previously practiced as both defense counsel and a plaintiff’s attorney in various areas of law. He has extensive experience in motion practice at the federal level and has successfully briefed issues in multiple jurisdictions.

Personal

Jamison is a born and raised New Orleanian who resides in town with his wife and young son. When not working or spending time with family, he enjoys outdoor pursuits and training for various endurance competitions.
