Stefini W. Salles is a native New Orleanian who joined Leake Andersson in 2022. She previously worked for a large defense firm in New Orleans, where she focused on insurance defense, general casualty, personal injury, debt collection, construction law, medical malpractice, and matters involving the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.  Her clients included national insurance companies, telecommunications, manufacturers, healthcare facilities and locally owned and operated businesses.

In the courtroom, she conducts direct and cross examination of the facts and expert witnesses – after completing extensive trial preparation for general casualty, products liability, and nursing home litigation. Stefini has successfully litigated cases in many of Louisiana’s parishes and has also participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations. She previously taught torts in the Paralegal Studies department of the University of New Orleans.

Personal

Stefini is an avid LSU Tiger fan and enjoys following all of LSU’s sports team.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her three children. She volunteers hundreds of hours to her children’s summer swim league in Slidell, Louisiana. Stefini and her family are members of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pearl River, Louisiana.
